Copeland, Senior Vice President of National Diversity and Inclusion Strategy and Policy and Chief Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity Officer for Kaiser Permanente, who has dedicated his platform to doing just that.
During the conversation, led by and TLD Group Advisory Board Chair, Bob Sachs, PhD, they explore Kaiser Permanente’s views on the impact of racial disparities and social determinants on health, and the organization's long term commitment to access to care for all.
About the Presenter
Dr. Ronald L. Copeland currently serves as the Senior Vice President of National Diversity and Inclusion Strategy and Policy and Chief Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity Officer for Kaiser Permanente. In his role he leads Kaiser Permanente's efforts to ensure strategic vision for equity, inclusion, and diversity is successfully implemented to drive strategic business and mission outcomes. Dr. Copeland, a board-certified general surgeon, joined Kaiser Permanente in 1988 after a six-year honorable tour of duty in the United States Air Force Medical Corps. Ron was the Executive Medical Director of the Permanente Medical Group in Ohio for many years prior to taking his current position.
